Sale 1161 Lot 141 Mar 18, 2017 10:00 AM              Sold for $300

Late 19th-early 20th century. Standing zebra with original paint and glass eyes. Braided mane and tail. Feet suggest it was originally a pull toy. Some wear and age splits. 12"h.
Estimate $ 250-450

Paint coverage is fairly complete, what little grain shows isn't enough to accurately identify wood. Most likely pine, lightweight but not very soft.
Age split along one side from shoulder to tail and some seam separation. Light wear, minimal areas of paint loss on underside and under mane. Mane and tail have age but may or may not be original. Ears are replacements.

We provide condition information when it is requested by a potential bidder, as a part of our dedication to excellent customer service.
