AMERICAN WILLIAM AND MARY TAVERN TABLE.
Found in York County, Pennsylvania, 1st half-18th century, oak with pine secondary. Pinned and rosehead nail construction. Single nailed drawer with replaced pulls, stretcher base and single board top. Old refinishing. Wear and age splits. 28"h. 29"w. 21.5"d.

Edge wear, surface wear on top, top has age splits, two of which run the entire width and have old glued repairs. Drawer has age splits, two in bottom, one in side, and plugged holes the pulls are inserted through. Two replaced drawer runners. Top has been reset with additional pegs and filled in holes, warped in back with additional glue at two replaced pegs. Appears to be original. Old dark stain on base is worn. Age splits in legs, back right leg has glued repair. Stretchers have appropriate wear from use.
