Mid 19th century. Tin frame with wire guards around a blown glass globe. Tin font with whale oil burner. Wear. 9.5"h. not including handle.
Estimate $100-150

Base is slightly out of round, surface wear to tin, traces of old black paint. Wires complete, solder appears old if not original but several spots have been varnished over. Small spot of solder goes over top edge of globe. Glass has a few small potstones and tiny bubbles. 3/11
